Crematorium for Princess Bejaratana on Sanam Luang

Construction of the royal crematorium on Sanam Luang in Bangkok for Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana is nearly finished. As you can see from these two pictures tweeted today by @Chai_DN and @Pacharapapon the buildings are looking very beautiful both day and night.  The three-day mourning period is scheduled for 8th-10th April.  The late princess’ ashes will be collected on the morning after the 9th April cremation and escorted to Dusit Maha Prasart Throne Hall. The main pavilion, crematorium and other buildings will then be open for the public to visit on 11th-17th April. If you are in the area then don’t miss out on this rare opportunity. These buildings will all be pulled down and moved shortly after 17 April.
